Perquira
Clear boundaries for responsible research

Terms of Use

Effective 16 July 2026

Perquira supports research decisions. It does not replace reading the source, methodological judgment, supervision, ethics review, clinical expertise or legal advice.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Perquira, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact contact@perquira.com with questions.

2. The service

Perquira helps users discover scholarly evidence, analyse selected papers, identify bounded research opportunities, compare journals and find open calls. Features and coverage may change. Perquira may limit, suspend or discontinue features when necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance or product development.

3. Research and clinical limitations

Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, misclassified or incorrect. Search coverage is not exhaustive. A statement that something was not found applies only to the selected or retrieved evidence unless expressly stated otherwise. Perquira does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, research-ethics approval, legal advice, acceptance predictions or guarantees of novelty, publication or funding. You must verify important claims, quotations, eligibility rules, deadlines and citations against authoritative sources.

4. Your submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Perquira and its service providers a limited licence to process that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the requested service. You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis required to submit it.

You must not upload identifiable patient information, protected health information, confidential participant records, examination materials, unlawfully obtained papers, or unpublished third-party manuscripts without proper authority. Remove sensitive data before submission.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, bypass access or spending controls, disrupt infrastructure, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at unreasonable volume, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, generate fabricated scholarship, or use Perquira to make automated clinical decisions about individuals.

6. Scholarly content and third parties

Paper metadata, abstracts, journal information and links may originate from third-party databases and publishers. Those materials remain subject to their applicable rights and terms. Links do not imply endorsement. Journal scopes, fees, deadlines and open calls can change, so verify them with the publisher before acting.

7. Perquira intellectual property

The Perquira name, branding, interface, software, selection logic and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may use outputs for lawful research and study, subject to source copyrights and proper attribution.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perquira disclaims implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for research design, ethical compliance, source verification, submission decisions and use of outputs. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Perquira will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-opportunity damages arising from use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as Perquira develops. The effective date will identify the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent to contact@perquira.com.
